I got my cert, but the name is not right...
Don't worry! We will correct this, and you can change the name on your cert any time for only the cost of postage if you want extra copies, your name changes because of marriage or divorce, or you want to be certified in your company or individual name instead. Your cert is for life, with no renewal or transfer fees, and is transportable if you move. Just remember to update your records with us if there is a change!
Sometimes a cert goes out, due to meeting grandfathering deadlines or ship link expiration, before you got us a change from company to individual, spouse account to enrollee, etc. NO WORRIES, we will correct this at no charge to you.
Importantly, updating your cert and account name, at any time, will NOT affect your regulatory grandfathering date, which is valid from the day you first enrolled regardless of corrections or changes, regardless of when you send your exam in, and regardless of the date you receive your original or corrected cert(s).
