Where is my course?
Every course is a little different. Some are solely email courses with an attached exam that you get in your email, and return the exam. Others include more advanced online password protected sites, exams or CD's and DVD's.
The first thing you get when you enroll is an immediate email from Google telling you your payment went through. If you didn't get this, either your card was declined, or you used another email that you forgot you had at paypal, or used a friend or family member's Email account and the message went there. Within 48 business hours of that email, your course email will be sent to the same email address on your or your spouse's or company's paypal account.
If you got the first course, and returned the exam, your subsequent materials will either be sent by mail with your cert(s), or after the exam is graded. This can take several weeks, but you are already grandfathered as of your enrollment date. Sometimes, due to expiration of your ship link or grandfathering necessity, your cert(s) will even arrive before your exam is returned or graded. They will become valid when your exam is then returned. Please understand that if we have to choose between a lot of hand holding messages about your progress, and actually getting you grandfathered, the real certification process comes first, and YOU ARE progressing!
On a rare occasion, your first communication will be by mail. This means you didn't even know we sent you many emails to the wrong email, a company email, a spouse's email, a full mailbox, or a box you forgot you had at Google, or from years ago that is no longer valid. AOL, Earthlink, Hughes, Charter, and many cable and dsl emails are NOTORIOUS for putting messages into spam, or denying access unless you have our email address (mail@zpsu.com) in your address book! Also, many partners in our network (ETI, GottaVisit, etc.) also offer discounted courses, and if you got a confirming email from one of them (gunengine, for example) and yet your course came from e-psu, you might not have recognized the course email! Another frequent problem is an email account with a bad POP server return address. You signed up for John.Smith at tampabay.rr.com and the return address is John at tampa.com in your outgoing POP or SMTP profile. Anyone who emails you gets a bounceback, and you think we're not communicating! Many people get worried about scams etc. when it is their own email that is the problem!!
If you paid by check, and didn't include an email address, we have no way of communicating with you. You will then think we don't care, are some kind of scam, are stealing your money, or are ignoring you, when in fact we have no idea that you are even enrolled!
IMPORTANT: you MUST email us immediately to give us an INDIVIDUAL student name if you enrolled as a company. If you want your company name on your cert(s), that's fine, otherwise, we need to know who you are!! BUT DON'T sweat it-- if you failed to do this, we will re-issue your certs in the right name. PLEASE include your CSR number or cert ID number (on your cert) in the SUBJECT OF ANY EMAIL for faster service.
